  1. When encoding the dvd files in tmpgenc, it sometimes produces .mpg files that are too large to put on a cd. This seems to occur when I use 2 or more cds for the movie. The first cd is always ok, but the second one comes out over the 800 mb limit. I have tried changing the bitrate settings in dvd2svcd, but it doesnt seem to work. Anyone with a suggestion how to fix?

I usually choose 3 cds if the movie is longer than 1:50 . in the bitrate tab I have not had the problem since. I know there is a better way, but this works for me. I have not had this prob. with cce 2.50 yet

Had the same problem........just used overburn in nero as it was only about 5MB to big. You could also reduce the CD size by 5-10 mbs in the bitrate tab if your burner wont overburn.

    cheers
