I have an AVI movie and wanna convert it to an MPG...it gives u 3 options (in TMPGenc) from picking the FPS...like NTSC...PAL...and NTSC film..well the avi movie FPS is only 12.5...what do i do?!?!?!

Don't do anything
watch it and then delete it from the harddrive
If you convert it it will come out horrible

you could try using an svcd template for PAL and when you set the framerate choose 25 fps and click the settings button and make it look like this:
25 / 2 = 12.5 fps
and see if that works. Stuff like that will work in my apex ad-1500 but i don't know about your dvd player...

Ok...but when i select Video Input..it says..." File The Bourne Identity can not open, or is unsupported...???

Adjsut the direct show priority in TMPGenc. Here is how:
options>environmental settings>VFAPI Pluggin>
adjst Direct Show by right clicking higher priority to 4
