    I just got myself a new Thomson DTH 5200 player and it is great.. plays anything I thow at it, DVD/VCD/SVCD/MP3 etc..

    Good picture and sound quality, and the remote also handles your TV..

    All in all It was a good buy for €275 IMO..

    I'd expect 2 or 3 DVD players for that price - depending whether it's Euros or pounds!

    Well, I tried my share of cheap 'play all' DVD players, but none played anything well.. especially multilayer DVD and SVCDs..

    The Thomson plays anything I tried sofar and is multiregion as well..

    Try out the Sampo 631CF it also plays everything plus the hack not only bypasses Macrovison but also the Copy Serial Mangement System and plays Compact flash also, or upgrade the ide from the flash port to a windows hard drive also.
