  1. K, I tried this on TMPGenic v1.4 ( I think) doesnt seem to read but getting an error when I load the movie. So I downloaded the new TMPGenic v2.3 or v2.55 one of those. When I convert Spiderman (DVD DivX).avi to MPG, It's working but the audio doesnt come out when it finished converting. Can anyone tell me why?? Please I need to know...

  3. I had the same problem the 1st time I did Lord Of The Rings divx... no audio after converting. I fixed it by extracting the audio to WAV first, then it converted perfectly.

  5. If you can view the divx movie already with Media Player, you already have the divx codec installed, and I believe TMPGEnc should load the movie ok. If you cannot even play it, you need to install the codec, then it should load in TMP. Get the latest version, as its baskwards compatable I believe.

If you have divx and can watch the movie ok, but TMP still wont load it, you can try adjusting this setting: In TMP in the Options menu, select Environmental Setting... VFAPI Plug-In... right-click on DirectShow Multimedia File Reader (should be checked)... then Higher Priority until the priority is at least 1. This helped me.
