Plugin prob ...

Ive got the mpeg2 plugin for Tmpgnec of this site,i put it in the same folder as the program but when i try and load a mpeg2 file from a svcd the program just crash's.

Any one know the prob ?????

i had the same problem with tmpgenc, that it crashed everytime when i started to encode. download Nimo Codec Pack from the Tools section. that helped me. install at least encoder parts. if it doens't work then install all the codecs from the Nimo Pack. that helped me. let me know if it works.

I downloaded the Nimo Codecs pack and installed it but tmpgenc still crash's when i load a svcd/mpeg2 into it.

I need to get it to work so i can encode a svcd to vcd for someone.....

i had again prob with combination TSCV, Media Player, TMPGEnc. problem stopped after i installed only decoder pack from Nimo codec pack.

but, back in your problem. you want to encode from mpeg2 to mpeg? i read the your first topic quite quick.. well, that's more difficult. TMPGEnc can't do that. you have create some temporary file or something like that. i think here's a tutorial for that. you first to create MPEG2 from the MPG file in SVCD.. but still TMPGEnc can't handle the MPEG2 file.. i'm not sure though. but i heard you need to create some temporary file to encode mpeg2 to mpeg.. i'll let you know when i know more.
