    Does Instant Video v2.2 can really do a 1:1 DVD copies ??? I mean DVD to DVD copy.

    Its impossible to create a 1:1 DVD. Commercial DVDs are dual layer and can have up to 9.4 GB on one side. We only have 4.7 GB. Nuff said.

    They shouldn't say "1:1 raw cd/dvd copy" on their website. Thats misleading.

    well lets say to rip a movie like the mothman prophecies (new release) and it comes out to be less then 4.7GB which is true then you be able to take those files drag them into a burning program like Nero and create an identical DVD. BUT most movies are not less then 4.7 GB, mostly all movies are over 4.7 GB. But with certain programs (IfoEdit) you can make them smaller and still have DVD quality.

  5. You can do 1:1 DVD copies IF the DVD is less than 4.7 Gigs in size AND in the case of DVD video (rather than DVD ROM) is not encrypted by CSS. The current range of consumer DVD writers will not write to the section of the disc reserved for the CSS encryption.
