Hi,
I hope this is the right place to post this.
I've got some DV footage on my pc which I want to convert to MPEG2. I've used to tmpgenc and it's pretty good quality. Now I want to try CinemaCraft 2.64. I can add the dv file to the list without any problem (unlike previous versions). But as soon as I click on encode it seems to start the encode but it ends 2 seconds later! Has anyone managed to encode DV in CCE? I know earlier version had problems even just loading the files, but this seems to accept it but it won't encode it.
thanks,

i have the same prob with cce 2.5
i got a sony minidv, forgot the model but the bugger was expensive
anyway i frameserved it with virtualdub
direct stream copy selected, no audio
took the .vdr and vfapi'd it
works fine, looks amazing
cce ownz
dont forget to change the field order to even
or bottom field first, if the end mpeg2 is jaggy played back on tv
use pulldown.exe to change the field order
i heard cce always encodes top field first no matter what you put in the options... dont know about cce 2.6 -
Not sure what he's talking about.. oops!
Has anyone got CCE working with type I DV? -
I have CCE 2.50 and the frame change option works for me using Picvideo MJPEG codec - very plain to see the change
