The title might by an oxymoron, but I wanted to find out if there is a way to capture AVI using powervcr II.
I have a ATI-TV card (PCI), a 1.2 gig emachine, 256 pc133, NTSC captures, and have been trying various capturing programs to achieve the "perfect" capture of VHS home movies.
I have seen the "best" results from capturing AVI, however, nothing I have tried has gotten me to the perfect capture. I've tried, ATI's product (ok, if you want to capture at XXX x 240), IUVCR's product (decent, but a lot of reincoding time, but not perfect), Vdub(hoses my system everytime). My latest purchase has been powervcrII based on the things I have heard about it. In not thinking, I didn't look to see if it could capture in AVI. Anyway, does anyone know if an AVI capture using powervcrII is possible?
