I need to know if I have installed the tmpeg vfapi plug in correctly. I downloaded it from tmpeg.net, unzipped it to the same folder as tmpeg is in. Now it is in the same directory and when I clicked on the file in an attempt to run it, it just opened up a black page with some text that dissapeared too quickly for me to read. Is it installed? the directions say "run the vfp bat." Someone out there, please help me with this. I am sure that it is probobly quite simple and silly to most of you, but I am a serious newbie, and I am teaching myself as I go along, with the help of people that are nice enough to give me hand. thanks in advance!
Peace,

All it is doing is registering the appropriate files. What you saw is fine. It only needs to be done once, even if you install other versions of TMPGenc.
