Hi all,
I shot a short 18 min movie on my DV cam, edited it in Apple's iMovie, and exported it as Toast VCD (NTSC).
But the VCD quality is disappointing -- jerky, pixelation, especially at points of scene transitions/fast movements. I wld say VHS tapes are much better and more stable but they dont last. (Now I understnd why Apple didnt bother with VCD.) I mean after all that hard editing work in iMovie, and u get such quality, it's really disappointing.
question: is there anyway to get better VCD quality? I've heard of SVCD but Toast Titanium doesnt support that right? also, can my portable VCD player support SVCD? Or shld I just go for DVD!?
thanks
