  1. hello,
I have been researching dvd burners for a while and I'm finaly on the home stretch but I have yet to read about anybody using the Pioneer burner with a labtop,I'm going to put it in a drive kit,and will be using a USB 2.0 interface
I have a Dell Inspiron 1.0Ghz Pentium3,256 memory, and a 20gig hd,I'll be getting a serperate 20gig hd for storage ,but can someone please confirm that this is going to work

Is there any Labtop users out there?

    thanks

I use my Panasonic DVD-R/DVD-RAM burner with Firewire, both with my PC desktop and with my Mac laptop.

Which Inspiron? The higher end ones come with Firewire built-in.
