  1. Using Tmpge and the "wizard" function I converted a 246 avi file to a 537 mpeg file. Selecting VideoCD/NTSC (consisting of a mpeg1 file, 352x240, 29.97fps) and after writing it to a cd I went to put it in my panasonic dvdrv31 player which is supposed to play dvd/cd/VCD but I get the error message that it can't play this format of disk. First, am I changing it to the right format? and does anyone have this palyer to know if it in fact will play vcd's? Canb someone recommend the right settings if this is not correct or where I can find them? THANK YOU!!!

  2. Your player should play that type of MPEG http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDnameid=241&Search=Search&#comments

How did you burn it - you cannot burn as data, you must use a VCD authoring program (see AUTHOR at left).
Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'
