hi,
most of the movies I encode to vcd are divx movies that are about 640 * 272 ratio. I realize that this is anamorphic widescreen (the theatre version). I also know that you can make this video to full screen (without stretching) by picking no margin aspect ratio in TMPG ENC. Is there a way that you can crop the video when you put it in 16:9 letterbox or is this impossible with this program. All the movies I make are in 16:9 letterbox and come out a little strecthed. It's no big deal because the only time you realize the picture is stretched is when you notice a car in the movie. Nonetheless, I would still like to know if it is possible to crop my movie in the 16:9 mode like it is done in 4:3 mode so that the picture is not stretched. Thanks in advance for any help that you can give!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
