  1. I converted a PAL format SVCD to NTSC DVD, and it plays fine in WinDVD. But when I try to burn it in DVDit, I get an error message about GOP sequence headers. I'm using the default settings for the DVD NTSC template, and I don't see what I'm doing wrong. Goes anyone know what I should do differently?

What exactly is the error message? I am not very familar with DVD, but AFAIK DVD allows a max GOP length of 15 frames. I think the GOP length of that template is 18. Also make sure, there is a sequence header before each GOP.
    Hope it helps.

check out this link for creating DVD compliant mpeg-2 files that import into DVDit!

It seems that DVDit wants seperate video/audio streams, not a program stream containing both.

Also, check out the DVDit! forums. There's some good stuff in there. Almost as much as in the VCDHELP forums.

    Hope this helps you out.
