  1. I read it on VCD help, how to make a DVD rip AVI file into full screen.
    Using TMPgenc
By clicking on "No Margins" in the advanced box.
I did this, however the movie is not working on my vcd player. It is not the cds I use cause all other films work ok
    I used this setting :

    Video-CD PAL (MPEG-1 352x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

am I using the right settings??

    thank you

The "No Margins" setting is not going to affect the playability of the CD. it is possibly an incompatible CDR, or more likely because you didn't finalise the disc. BTW, if you want to make sure you see all of the DivX (it will have black margins) you need to select Full screen(keep aspect ratio.

like banjazzer said if you wanna see all of the divX video on your tv you should choose FullScreen (keep aspect ratio) which will add black bars to the top and bottom. No margins will convert widescreen into 4:3 fullscreen by chopping ff the sides of the video. but make sure that the output video aspect ratio is set to 4:3 and the input is either set to 1:1VGA or 4:3...
