    can any one tell me a program tath can convert asf, avi, rm, etc.. a all in one program taht will convert those and others into a format tath can burn into vcd

    No such animal.

    RM is a "end result" format by Real Media. You have to use a special program to try and change it to another format, and that program in-itself is buggy and works 10% of the time.

    The only files formats that can be changed from one to another are:

    Mpg/AVI/DV/MOV

    Your high end programs like Premiere and Ulead Media Studio Pro will handle thse just fine (Premiere just needs a plug-in)

    If you can't spend the money on these progs then all you need is Virtual Dub and TMPGenc.
