Viewing Ratio in TMPGEnc

Hey,

Ok, I ripped a DVD. I did the DVD2AVI part and now I am in TMPGEnc.

My movies ratio on the DVD case says 2.35:1. The closest I can get with TMPGEnc is 2.11:1. When I did that all the wheels in the movie are ovals. Everybody also looks skinny.

What should I do??

You can set the source and the output.....Under advanced tab set up source as say 4:3 then goto video and set as 4:3 then before you click start to encode >>click on file then preview....thats what output will look like.....go back and chang settings and repeat till it good.....then Encode.
