What ever the format....first you have to get them onto your computer.....
So if its a record...you got to hook the record player up to the audio in on the PC or some have a line in and record to the hard disc...
The format you want them in depends on what your burner and player supports... Nero will make audio cd's from wave files....so I copy mine that way.

  3. okay.. so plug in using audio in.. got it.. but using nero? you mean nero cd burner? i thought it is for burning audio cd's or u mean using the nero media player?? is that the only software i'll need to transfer my analog music into pc?

  4. If you want to transfer audio from various sources to your pc the soundblaster audigy platinum is the thing for you. Bit pricey but its got a multitude of digital and analogue inputs.

Your sound card should have a media program that will record...If not there is a recorder in the Nero package ...just click on the wav editor icon...it has all sort of options.
