I need some mass help on copying VCD"s... I am getting mad... Ok here is my prob..it first started off where i was getting buffer underuns copying vcd's... i upgraded my ram and increased avaible so that went away... However No matter what i do when i copy a cd using my 7510E ( external... is on parallel port) HP cd writer, the copied cd always has problems ( ex... it glitches, is ditorted in spots, or lags)... I have tried several programs like disk juggler and easy cd creator cd to cd copy.. Same result.. the cd copies but every time i test to see if cd is exact as first it isnt and has problems....I have also tried extracting a bin from cd with little success??? Even done where is goes to Hd first....i am clueless to how your properly copy a vcd to make it the exact same as first without any problems.... ????? and i defrag my HD drives as a note...I tried turnin off auto inset... ( that is also what i think corrected the buffer underun on cd to cd copy but i added more rame cause i needed it)

Probably your burner. I've copied many VCDs and they all came out identical to the source disc.

i think i figured out the problem.... they r teg VCD's and i never paid attention but wen i loaded on nero today... it tells me they are all copyrighted!!!!!!! anyway to get around this?

It doesn't matter if it's copyrighted. They always come out anyways. I lean toward being a bad burnner as stated by rockphantom. Never though external drives were a good idea anyways.

I have to disagree with that... It works on everything else.. If that was the case ( it was a bad burner) then extracting contents of cd into a bin/cue with my normal cdrom should then work fine.. Cause i never have problems buring the original download bin/cue using fireburner.. It works great.. it is just once i delete that bin/cue, and try and copy from cd.. it doesnt work...anyway to get around copy protection if its the case?

I think the copyright protection is dependent on the burning program. Like how macrovision only works if your player recognises the macrovision protection.
I don't know if you already tried these, but here are a couple of suggestions. Try your copied cd on different players and try using different cd media. -
i am so clueless ... I cant get it to work no matter what i try... I just tried clone cd and no success... I dont know.. ill have to go to a friends house and see if it works on his burner... if it does, mine sucks.. If it doesnt, the cds are copyrighted to hell and back.
