    Will a burned video cd play in a standard DVD player(not a pc DVD)?

    In general you should look up your player (or the standalone DVD Player you wish to use) in the DVD Player compatibility list on this website and see if it will play VCD's. Next you should see if it will play all layered CD-R(W)'s or just special coloured ones.
