    Hi,
    I'm trying to add permanent subtitles to a mpeg file to burn a svcd movie. But when I try to do it with virtualdub I got a message of mpeg import filter error. Which program can I use to add permanent sub, my dvd does not support switchable subtitles.

    You can not open MPEG-2 files in VD. Frameserve with dvd2avi and VFAPI to VD instead.
