    I'm trying to convert a wmv file with virtualdub but when i load the file it gave me this error message "Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'WMV2' (unknown)" can someone help pls

    Get Windows Video Encoder on www.microsoft.com, convert to Windows AVI MPEG4 then use virtualdub to convert this to a good codec.

    Butol1, Have you succeeded with converting a wmv in virtualdub yet? If not I might know of something that will help!

    Hi kenetik

    great guide! but my movies are 650-700 MB. so I would need abut 70000, which are 70 GB!!! of harddisc space. Sorry, thats too much. Have you another solution? Or everyone else?
