  1. I am trying to convert a divx.avi movie to mpeg format so that I can burn it onto a CDR as a VCD.
At the final stage of encoding, when I click the start botton on the left top corner,I am getting a error message that just displays a long line of digits (537403781 1540096).I cannot go further.
(This is my first time using TMPGEN.Initially ,before this error message,I was getting "pop3.dll can`t load".After several trials ,it is gone.)

    Please help.

Ah, so at 537403781.1540096 you get an error ?

Ah, this could mean "YOUR AVI HAS BAD FRAMES"

    Paste

1, load AVI into Vdub and scan for bad frames. Video > Scan video stream for errors
1b If it finds bad frames, set video/audio to streaming and SAVE AS, save out another copy of AVI

2, Now that the AVI is junk free, load into TMPGENC.
2b Select options > environmental settings
2c click the VFAPI plug-in tab
2d right click the "DirectDraw" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4

    Now convert the new AVI
