    I downloaded an AVI and I can play it with no trouble; however, there is no audio at all. Any suggestions?

    load it into vdub and under file properties see which codec is needed or if it even has any audio

    Or...you could just download the DIVX and be done with it.
    I have 3.11, 4 and 5 on my machine, never had an issue with sound since.

    Hey, thanx for the suddestions.

    I loaded it into vdub and under Audio Codec it says "unknown" ..also Bit Rate is "unknown".

    I have DIVX 5 and it also plays with no audio.

    I'm not too sure what to do about the unknown codec...does that mean there is no audio?
