  1. Ok I'm running windows XP and trying to install an ATI TV WONDER card.

    I'm trying out this tutorial:
    http://www.vcdhelp.com/ATI_AIW_Guide.htm

and since I'm on XP most of the steps I can skip because XP already comes with the 8.1directX update and so forth...

so do I sttill have to go into regedit and delete those keys if using XP?

    thanks in advance.
If this works out I'll write an update for installing with XP .

  2. ok I think I proper fucked this up now after I deleted the stuff mentioned in the tutorial.

I get an error msg when starting Windows now:
"atiSServ failed to provide required Interfaces!"

and MMC won't uninstall. I tried repairing it but it won't work. Tried re-installing the drivers, no go. and MMC doesn't work at all now.

most challenging piece of hardware I've EVER encountered...
