I've encoded two of three portions of a movie to vcd mpgs and had no problem after figuring out what settings matched the source avi. However, I fooled around with quite a few of the template settings before I realized the basic ones should have been left alone and custom ones saved for unique sources. Point is, I don't know if I changed anything between encoding mpg's for section three and the previous two. When I play the file in Winamp the movie looks great (widescreen 640 X 272) but when I burned it with Nero (had to turn off standard compliance for all three parts to get it to burn) it played in full screen on my DVD and messed up the aspect ratio (stretched). Did I encode improperly? Is the problem with Nero or TMPGEnc? The first two play fine on both computer players and the DVD.
