SVCD to VCD ???

hello,

Iam converting a SVCD to VCD so Im able to use burn it to a CDRW and play on my Sony DVP-330s VCD/DVD player.
I followed instructions from the CONVERT SECTION using DVD2AVI.. then TMPGEnc now when im doing the conversion with TMPGEnc at a normal quality does this usally take 2-3 hours.. ?? i mean thi sis like Forever.. playing the movie.. please help me on this subject.

2-3 hours is faaaast...for me it takes 10 hours for a 2 hour video. Get a faster processor...or a new dvd player that supports svcds if you dont wait .
