  1. Hello,

    I'm looking for a piece of software that can read a burned (S)VCD and give info about the details.

    I have tried Bitrate Viewer but where I am sure the movie is MPEG2 BV tells me it's MPEG1....... Also it doesn't tell anyting about Audio 44.1 or 48 Hz...
    I also tried a program MPEGProperties100 but that one mostly misses a lot of info. Sometimes it only has an AudioTab...
    Besides that I also tried BBTools, FlasK, TMPGenc etc...
    But none of them work or give the right 100% sure information.

    All info I want to get is;
    - Video Bitrate
    - VBR or CBR
    - MPEG 1 or MPEG2
    - Resolution
    - Audio 44.100 or 48.000
    - Audio BitRate

    There must be a piece of software that can give me the info about a mpg that's already burned as SVCD/VCD/CVD and work under Windows XP (eventually 98 or ME).
    Please if you know such a piece of software I am very interested to know where to find/download it.

    Thanx
    Mars-L

    Try VCDeasy. I also use Power DVD to check what the disc is. Won't give full info like CBR/VBR, etc. But it will tell me what the bitrates are while the video is playing, as well as the audio encoding, time, number of chapters, etc.
