  1. Hi.

For the past few days, I have been playing vcds in my computer. Almost always, at the end of the VCD, the computer start to twitch (make sudden jerking movements) while the VCD is playing. Does anyone know why this happens? I tried in my work computer but the VCD is playing normal as usual. There are no (not even a trace) twitches at all. The flow of the video is smooth. No matter what player I use, Window Media Player, PowerDVD, everytime the same thing happens in my computer. Sometimes, the computer just hangs. Even if I copy the dat file from the vcd to the computer and play it, same result.

Does anyone know how can I solve this problem? Please help me urgently!!!!

    Thanks,
    Kamal

  3. I tried that also but I don't know it has the same problem. What I think is that something is wrong with the cpu. Because I tried it in my friend's computer and there were no twitches at all! Surprising!

It may be that your system resources are low. Try turning off some of those icons on the taskbar and turning off some applications before you begin watching...

  5. then it must be your cdrom.
the spin at the end of the disc is not the same in the beginning
Try onother cd or dvd rom (or use a better cdr / cdrom combination )
Try burn at lower speed , older cdroms cant handle fast speed writing

But i dont no why it do that on your hd !

    good luck
