Is it possible to rip JUST the audio from a DVD, to a WAV file?

I found one way of doing it using ac3decode, but it didnt work on the DVD I was trying, no output. I think thats because the audio on this DVD is in PCM.
I tried another DVD but there was a loud buzz on the WAV file.

So, is there anyway, to extract the PCM audio from a DVD to a WAV file for burning to audio cd?

    Cheers

  2. you could use DVD2AVI to frameserve, as it extract audio from a given track into one big huge wave file.

  3. There is a program that Pinoy told me about that I use called
VOB2AUDIO that just rips the audio from the DVD into about a
1 gig .wav file. From that monsterous .wav you could use an MP3
encoder to get it down to a more manageable size.
