Just converting a SVCD to DivX by frame-serving with AVi-Synth and processing in virtual dub. Film comes out ok no problem (Divx 3.11) frame rate is 29.970, however the audio tends to go out of sync through the course of the film. Should I have IVTC in vitual dub if so do I just load the telecide (1.1 beta) Donald Grapht filter or do I just change the frame rate (but it says this will cause audio/video desynchronisation).
Ive searched the forum and doom.9 etc. (spent 2hrs reading and not getting any where) but I am confused by all the answers. Usually they refere to using Gardian Knot (which would mean I have set it up as if ripping a DVD which I am not).
