  1. Hi, i have a problem with VirtualDub.
When i have loaded a MPEG file and should
save it as an AVI file the program tells me that
i try to "compress with a hacked compression driver"
and "the "DivX" codec is a hacked version of the
    Microsoft MPEG-4 codec".
And if i continue anyway the program seams to
start the compression but nothing happend.
Where can i find the real codec, i have Widows XP.
    Pleace help.
    Thanks.

I have had this problem before and found it was the audio codec I had used at the time, try changing the audio compression to none and try again. If this works open the newly compressed file (with large audio) and compress the audio only, direct streaming the video
    Hope this helps

  3. Thank you, but it was duficult to find the right compression mode
for the sound, is there any way to calculate it, so it became the
    right speed on the sound.
Sorry if my english is bad.

    Not that I've found
You could try looking in www.doom9.org
    and see how you go
