I've got four vcds (videos taped during a holiday later converted into cds), two of which work pretty well. I could never manage to make the remaining two work on my computer. Everything is all right when I play them in my friend's pc, but it's MY holiday dammit and I want to watch it home! Neither Windows Media Player nor Xing Mpeg Player works (yes, I know pretty well how to use them) on these two cds, while the other two (all 4 are identical TDKs recorded through an identical procedure) work perfect on all grounds.
I've read somewhere that some dlls might be missing from my system (how on earth can dll files run loose?) or some system files might be out of date (hmmm?). Where are these dlls and how do I fix them? How do I get the chance to make these haunted cds play my holiday? Or will my holiday remain doomed in the depths of a silly avseq**.dat file?
Please help.
Thanks already.
Eli.

verry dramatic Eli
umm well try using your find command to check and see first if your comp even has these sneeky files.
and your talking about your "vcd's" rite? not jus files burnted to disk?
ok les assume you made real vcd's
but you said your first 2 vcds works rite? im assuming they are working on your comp? well im prolly thinking a problem with your cd rom and your friend has a better computer than you. or even try reburning the last cd's at a slower speed
i hope that helps
