    i have a divx file encoded with AC3 , anyone know how i have to re-encode it without AC3 and back with normal audio

    i know how to convert divx with AC3 to vcd but i don't wanna convert to vcd ,i wanna keep it as divx but without the AC3

    Extract AC3 using VirtualDub (I think there's a guide on this here somewhere). Convert to wav using something like HeadAC3he. Load the avi into Vdub. Select video direct stream copy. Select audio full processing mode. Browse to the extracted wav. Select compression and choose desired mp3 options. Then File save as avi.
