    I downloaded an avi and then turned it into an mpeg-1 using TMPGEnc and then burned that to a cd with nero and I can't get my dvd player to play the cd. It says Video CD on the player so it must play them. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Please help!!

    well for one....what kinda DVD player do u have? it might not be able to play CDR or CDRW...or maybe only certain kinds of media..........look on the left of this web site and click the link DVD PLAYERS......check if ur DVD player is compatable with these
