Hello all,

Does anyone know if there is a reg. hack to adjust the captured avi file size? Ok, when the 2g limit is reached,
and the capturing (in short) is, say, 3gigs, the DC10's
final captured avi's will of ben split to 2 files
2g and 1g. I was wondering if one could set the limit to
something lower. What I want to do is copy my captured
avi's and archive them to cd-r at 560mb or 600mb in size.
This way I don't have to split them with an avi cutter (which never really work well) and it would be so much easier and easier to burn them on cd-r, for late re-encoding projects - say, you found the ultimate encoder and wish you
had the old captured avi's. know what I mean. I have a
bunch of avi's that I captured, but I really don't want to
loose them just yet. I want to burn them at 600mb intervals to cd-r's.

Can this be done, or am I just wishing - (ok, just wishing?)

Thanks all.
