    I have a TV Tuner card and currently use the program CyberLink PowerVCR II ver3.0 http://www.gocyberlink.com/english/products/product_main.jsp?ProdId=20 to recorded off air programs.

    This software allows for different quality setting of the recorded file.

    I have been using the highest setting which was MPEG2 640 X 480 which looks great on my computer.

    But this past week there was a local news program that I recorded and wanted to burn to S/VCD and I can not seem to find the correct conversion program to change the file format to the S/VCD format.

    I have tried a number of the programs suggested here such as;
    VCDEasy, TMPGEnc, VirtualDub and others

    I use NERO to burn my standard audo/data CD's and purchased the MPEG2 encoder from Ahead software and when ever I try using it to convert the file the audio track seems to loose about one second per-minute... so that after about ten minutes of play the audio is out of sync by ten seconds.

    Can you suggest an other program which would convert the file to the correct burning file format that NERO will burn?

    Nero has a Super Video CD in its list, Also TMPGEnc has a Super Video CD template.

    Don't let Nero do any conversion, its useless. Use TMPGEnc, and "Load" a Super Video CD template. The output will be correct for Nero
