Pioneer A04 stuck in Region 1.Playback ONLY

I have a Pioneer A04 burner .It is stuck on REGION 1 play back.

Will it alow me to make REGION 2 discs??? ( I live in UK)
Will harm any DVD I Burn.
Will it make them Region 1 ???????
How can I change the region.

OK, first you need to understand that playback and record are two different things. When you burn DVDs they are REGION 0 which means they will play in ANY DVD player no matter what the region code is. (so long as they will play DVD-R)

To change the region code you need to goto CONTROL PANEL and then SYSTEM. Then find the drive and click PROPERTIES. There should be a tab for the region code. Keep in mind that you can only change the region code a maximum of 5 times. (including the original setting) If you have changed it 5 times already, then you are out of luck.
