I'm having a strange problem that I hope someone can shed some light on. I have a Kenwood DV-303 player, it's always worked great. Yesterday I tried to play my store-bought "Soprano's - The Complete First Season" DVDs and 3 of the 4 disks no longer work! All disks are region 1 and I have played each of these disks at least twice in the past with zero problems. The error I get on the display is the same for the 3 that don't work: it says "No Play" and there's a message on the TV screen that says "This type of disk cannot be played". Say what??
All the DVD's are in great shape, no obvious scratches or marks and all work in my friend's DVD player just fine. Also my DVD player plays other DVD's OK. Anyone have any idea if the problem is my player or the DVDs? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
