How do I Convert .AVI to MPEG2 with Ulead DVD MovieFactory?

I have a 1.40 hour movie in avi. If I go to moviefactory and use make movie and set the MPEG2 setting it will convert but only 12min. and then stop. Why? how do I do the rest of my movie?

When you say it stops, does your system hang or do you just get a 12 minute mpg? I found that Ulead DVD MF would hang or freeze up, and in each case, it was attributable to bad frames which I could later locate with an editor, like Virtual Dub. Check the integrity of your AVI.

Hi thanks, it stops because it will only allow you to convert, well to be more corect, 9min 56sec. 06 frames. And thats it. my PC works fine and then from there I could just continue with burning. How do I now convert the rest of my Video.avi. ?

I found my problem. Just for the other readers interest. It was Adobe Premier. It convert in a differnt codec than all other softwear so you cant write to DVD sucsesfully.
