Ok i'm trying to put some of my VCR tapes to MPEG1 and then to VCD (since my SONY DVP NS 300 doesnt support SVCD)
Ok i have capture my files and edited them nice using Intervideo software.
Saved them as MPEG1, Convert them with TMPGEnc into MPG and then i use Nero 5.5.8.2 to burn it on a CD-R as VCD.
I have a DVD player in my computer and it works on that one.
My standalone DVD player SONY DVP NS 300 somehow deosnt like the CDR's. Tried using CompUSA CDR 74 mins and SONY CDR 80 mins Jewel but no luck.
Any help is welcome

Not all standalone DVD Players play VCD's.... You can check on the left bar under DVD Players.
If it does read the comments. SOmetimes only certain types of CD-R/CD-RW's work... -
IT does support VCD according to the DVD list here and also on the DVD player it self.

Well, that is probably your problem...
If you really want to watch them on TV use a TV-Out or go buy a new DVD Player....
Apex has cheap ones that supports a lot.
