Hope that someone can help me on this....
I have an ATI AIW 128 (AGP), and wanted to install a second graphics card (to play a game that the ATI does not support). I want to use my new card for the display, and the ATI as a capture-only device.
The new card is a PCI, and according to:
The documentation that came with it,
The docs with my ATI AIW,
And Microsoft's web site,- a PCI card would be assigned as the primary display adapter, and the AGP is the secondary graphics card.
My problem is that when I tried to install the PCI card, my PC automatically uses the ATI as the display driver.
I've tried the following:
Installing the new card with the ATI still installed - system locks up during boot.
Removed the ATI AIW, installed the PCI - works fine;
Re-installed the ATI AIW- and it becomes the Primary display adapter - no display output from the PCI card.
Any hints or suggestions? Or am I trying a configuration that just isn't possible?
