I probly have more codecs on my PC than anyone should....But last night I down loaded a bunch of mpg clips off a site... that most programs wont even try to open (Windows Media Player, divx player, sammi2...ect)
PowerDVD in file mode and FLASKmpg will open but when played they look like bits of movies interjected inbetween a bunch of pulsating green squares. Is this a codec issue? If so how do I tell what codec will open it??

Ah, sounds like you need the FAKE codec, this is needed for "FAKE" movies
