ok i got the svcd to burn successfully on a cd-r this time... but when i go to my computer and check out the disc info its only 1.15 megabytes.. what am i doing wrong? i burn the svcd w/its menu and i check finalize disk i burn @ disk at once and it took about 40 minutes at 2x speed and said it burned successfully.... but wouldn't it be way bigger than 1.15 megs if it were a whole movie??? what is happening?

also when i put it in my player it still is terrible quality... i cant even tell what the picture is and the sound is teribble also.... when i go to the menu for the dvd player there are 4 things.... Scandata, avseq01, item0001, and search..... it says the play mode is folder.... what should i do??? this is really annoying i can get vcd to work but i have never burned svcd before so i dont know what im doing wrong

First, you are seeing the file size of the root directory, the video is in a folder. check properties for the whole disc to see size used.
Second, it sounds like your player may not hancle SVCD. DL one of the test files on this site and burn that for a compatibility check.
