    When I open a svcd file in TMPGE for cutting it, the program prompts me an error like "Could not open this file with DirectShow (0x80040200)". What can I do??? (WIN XP Prof 1600XP, Codecs Divx (all))

    Try another cutting prgram. TMPGenc has never been a good choice for cutting, but great for encoding.

    I installed my soundcard again,and this solved the problem.It is a terratec 512 btw.
    Give it a try,you never know,I took me all saturday to figure this problem out..
