Tmpge and Spidey

Downloaded spiderman ex quality but when I try to split it to put on 2 cd's it only gets about 5mins into film and sticks at that point same place every time. If i then try to merge/cut after that point i get invalid mpeg file message. i need an idiots guide to this spent hous trawling thru vcd help pages and getting no further forward any help gratefully appreiciated

Well at leased when they are AVI, there is a lot more things you can do, However Mpeg's were not designed to be edited, so the only thing you could do is load into Vdub and delete the bad frames.

This means you need to save out a AVI...
