I've been messing around with Motion Menus and so far I have very cool video sequence that I want to use as a moving background for my main menu page. The thing is I want to find some way to add the same text ( Play, Chapter Selection, etc ) to all the bmps/jpgs, batch process if that's the correct term, without having to edit them one by one, which is a pain in the a$$ considering that the background sequence is about 10 seconds or about 300 frames. Any ideas about any programs or any alternate methods to do this? Any,and I mean ANY ideas are welcome. Thanks.

Animation Shop 3, that comes with PaintShop Pro can load AVI's and you can add text to all frames. It can load most picture formats and save AVI, which can then me converted to Mpeg1

The easiest method I have found to do this is with virtual dub and the logo filter. I have a selection of numbers and words already prepared (just put them on a blue background) and I just load them when I need them. They are antialiased also so they look very good. You can even use gif files if you want animated numbers/words.

I think I have found the best all in one method to preparing motion menu's taken off dvds... dvd2avi-> avisynth -> virtual dub with logo and/or logoaway filters-> cce. All of my resizing, filtering, and encoding is done in one step and the only intermediary files are the d2v and the avs. I can literally prepare all of my motion menu's in about 1 min.

The more the merrier! I 'm going to check out both methods and see which one I'll go for.
