    Is it possible to determine the exact filesize when using CQ on the rate control mode in Tmpgenc?
    Ps.is this the best setting for svcd to obtain the best quality or should i use 2pass vbr.(ore maybe something else?)
    And finally:how to adjust the quality setting in the CQ,is it just trial and error?

    No it is impossible to determinate the exact file size when using vbr cq.
