Any help on my conversion problem?

Hi

I captured a video using my GeForce3 Ti200 tv card and the file format is

Mpeg-2
Video 720x576 bit rate: 6400kbit/s
Audio bit rate: 224kbit/s

The settings for the card were to encode in DVD (PAL). The file was also stored with the .mpg extension.

The problem is I cannot find a tool to convert this to SVCD. Is there anything that can hanndle this or is there any tool that can do it in stages i.e. to VOB then maybe with DVD2SVCD etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

See if you can load it into DVD2AVI. If you can, you should be in business.

Alternatively, VirtualDub is pretty neat at capturing Video, and there are some guides here on the site, I believe.
