Does the 2GB filesize limit also count for mpeg2 videos for DVD?
If so.....does it mean I have to cut a 4.3 GB mpeg2 movie in several smaller pieces?

There nowhere you'll fid a 2gig limit...But with avi you'll find a 4gig limit and that's only if your running on a fat32 system. So in a word no you shouldn't have a size prob
